Volunteer Work Day at Bonnoront Preserve
April 20 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
FreeCome out and spend the day with us at one of AOA’s most scenic Hocking Hills preserves! This site is especially important to protect, given its numerous spring wildflowers and relatively undisturbed and healthy forest understory. We will continue to seek out and pull any garlic mustard we can find, along with the occasional honeysuckle.
Please make sure to bring boots, proper outerwear, water, and a lunch! Hiking poles are also very helpful on the steep terrain at this preserve. We will be traversing off trail, and sometimes may encounter a stream crossing or two! When arriving at AOA sites for an event/workday, be on the lookout for green signs and cones to lead the way.
Check out our Facebook site in case there are any late changes to this event or contact Noah Miller our Stewardship Coordinator.
